Mallorca by UTMB 2025, última prueba del UTMB World Series Europe 2025, reunió a más de 2.300 corredores de 70 países en un fin de semana inolvidable de trail running.
The four distances covered the most emblematic trails of the Tramuntana (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), combining technical difficulty, views of the Mediterranean and an authentic mountain atmosphere.
In the king distance (138 km, 5,350 m D+), Germany's Hannes Namberger flew to victory in 13:37:31, followed by Spain's Pau Capell (14:02:18), in a triumphant return from injury. Completing the podium was Petter Engdahl (14:28:07).
In the women's race, New Zealander and Mallorca resident Isla Smith took first place with 18:12:55, thrilling the crowd at the finish line. ‘The Tramuntana demands a lot from you, but it gives you magic,’ she said to applause. Second place went to Spain's Azara García de los Salmones (18:47:03) and third place to Ragna Debats (19:21:10).
Pau Capell, the return of the champion
This second place is a soothing relief for Pau Capell after a difficult season marked by injuries and an arduous recovery. The Catalan, who won the UTMB Mont-Blanc in 2019, shows that he is back on his feet: strong, ambitious and ready to fight for more podiums in 2026.

Azara García de los Salmones never disappoints. As one of Spain's top trail runners, her second place here reinforces her elite status, with a track record that includes UTMB World Series victories and season-long consistency.
TRA 100 km: Infernal pace and tight podiums
The TRA (100 km, 4,200 m D+) was a real spectacle. Antoine Guillon (FRA) won in 9:48:50, with Guillem Casas (10:02:17) and Andrea Secci (10:21:05) close on his heels.
In the women's race, Mélanie Rousseau (SUI) dominated with 11:58:12, followed by Núria Domínguez (12:24:07) and Laura Reig (12:59:44).
Consolidation of the UTMB Mallorca and economic impact for the island
After its second edition under the UTMB circuit race format, the race has consolidated Mallorca as a world reference for trail running with technical routes, variable weather and impeccable organisation.
This year, 70% of the race's participants were foreigners, generating a significant economic flow throughout the island. The more than 2,300 runners of over 70 nationalities filled hotels, restaurants and shops during the week of the event, promoting quality tourism and diversifying the island's economy beyond the traditional model of sun and sand.
